Core Values

1. The Great Commission
We value Jesus’ last command as our priority (Matthew 28:18) of going into all the world and making disciples of all people.

2. Ascension Gifts
We value the ministry of the apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor, and evangelist as governmental and equipping ministries given specifically to equip the people of God to do the work of ministry in the church and the workplace.

3. Team Ministry

We value the team approach to ministry and believe that there is a synergistic affect when like-minded ministries come together for the purpose of promoting and advancing the Kingdom of God.

4. Relationship

We place a premium on relationship and maintain that godly order is precipitated by proper relationship with each other. “How do two walk together unless they are agreed?” (Amos 3:3).

5. Leadership

We value the role and influence that God gives certain individuals to be leaders among leaders (Latin: primi inter pares, first among equals) and vision casters. Whether called, lead, senior, pastor, elder, bishop, or set man all leadership is ordained by God (Romans 13). All people have certain leadership capabilities, but special grace is given to some to hold higher positions of leadership as modeled by Moses (Exodus 13); also represented by Paul as he listed leadership as a gift (Romans 12:4) and that each gift has different manifestations and distributions (Romans).

6. Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We value the input, ministry and gifts of the Holy Spirit and that His activity is vital to the success of all endeavors undertaken by the church and the believer.

7. Prayer

We value the role of prayer in the life of the believer and that regular dialog with God is paramount to success in life and ministry.

8. Interdependence of the Local Church
The local church is interdependent, at times needing the assistance and support of other local bodies to help fulfill biblical mandates within our communities and the world. Although not autonomous or independent we support the right of local church elders and leaders to steer the church in the direction they believe the Lord had instructed them to go and to fulfill their specific vision and destiny.

9. Ministry of the Local Church

We value the local church as the vehicle God has chosen to manifest His Son on the earth today and that all believers need to assemble together regularly in fellowship and corporate worship.
