History and Beginning of A.C.P.N.
On Sunday, June 15, 2003, in the Sunday Morning Celebration, Pastor Eva Natongo received a remarkable visitation of the Holy Spirit. During the ministry time, the Spirit moved very powerfully and people began weeping, crying out to the Lord with renewed fervor and falling to the floor similar to the days of John Wesley and Charles Finney. A hunger was sparked in the people for more of God. The people in the body began experiencing the power of God in their everyday lives at work, home and school. Clearly something fresh was occurring.
Since then, pastors, intercessors, relatives and friends have come together weakly for prayers, to experience a touch from the Lord. A strong impartation occurs regularly in the meetings. Those who receive ministry during the celebrations and services report great refreshing, a return to the first love for the Lord, hearings—both physical and emotional—and a call to deeper intercessory prayer. Our lives were changed. A new fire was ignited.
The move of God was very attractive. As local ministries endeavor to grow and increase according to New Testament patterns they are also beginning to relate to the apostolic. As a result, several pastors and ministry leaders have expressed their desire to be a part of what God is doing at AFRICAN CHURCH PLANTING NETWORK. There is a need for a venue where pastors and leaders could network, share, encourage and enjoy each other, as well as continue to stay in the manifest presence of God. Understanding this to be God’s will, and with great passion and conviction, the AFRICAN CHURCH PLANTING NETWORK was created a joining together of congregations, pastors, ministers, ministries and leaders and prayer warriors.
